These nut butter cups make a delicious Easter treat, and they are so much healthier than any store-bought nut butter cups. We hope you love them!
Delicious Nut Butter Cups
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup of nut butter (we did almond)
- 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of almond flour or coconut flour
- A sprinkle of salt
- 1 extra dark chocolate bar
Instructions
- Add all of your ingredients aside from the chocolate into a bowl. Mix it thoroughly. Use a cookie scoop and place them on a parchment lined tray.
- Once they are on the tray, you can shape them into eggs.
- Set up a double boiler and melt your dark chocolate. Once the dark chocolate is melted, carefully dip your nut butter eggs into it and then place them back on the parchment paper.
- Place your tray of chocolate dipped eggs into the freezer for 10 minutes, until the chocolate has hardened. Remove from the freezer and drizzle your remaining chocolate over the top in a squiggle pattern.
- You can also add sea salt flakes or chopped nuts.
- Store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
