This dark chocolate berry bark is very easy to make, yet very rewarding! It’s simple and delicious.
Dark Chocolate Berry Bark
Ingredients
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup strawberries cut into bite size pieces
- 1 10 oz bag of dark chocolate pieces
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- We suggest using organic berries in order to avoid the pesticides used on conventional berries.
- Wash the berries and dry them thoroughly. Chop the strawberries into bite size pieces. Line a baking dish of your choice with parchment paper and add the berries. You can strategically distribute the berries so you get some of each type of in each piece of berry bark.
- Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil either on the stove in a double boiler or in the microwave (just 10 seconds at a time until melted).
- Pour the melted chocolate over your berries, making sure they are evenly coated. Place in the freezer for 1 hour. Take it out of the freezer and peel it away from the parchment paper. Break it up into whatever size pieces you like (you can use a knife for this too). Enjoy!
- We ate some immediately and stored the rest in the freezer, however the longer you leave it in the freezer, the harder it gets. We suggest letting them sit out for about 10 minutes prior to eating to achieve the perfect consistency.
